The job
The Recording Club is a recording studio and music club in Santa Monica. You keep the building clean, stocked and working.
- Walk the building and find the problems. Then fix them or restock. Nobody hands you a list.
- Keep it clean. Studios, lounges and restrooms, to a high standard.
- Paint and patch. Touch-ups, drywall repair, hanging art and acoustic panels.
- Build and fix. Furniture assembly, window sashes and latches, small plumbing like running toilets.
- Light electrical. LED strips, light fixtures, dimmers, swapping switches and outlets. No wiring inside walls.
- AV and cable. Cable runs, mounting screens and speakers.
- Ladders and scaffolding. Plenty of the work is up high.
You are a fit if
- You have done cleaning, handyman or maintenance work and can show us photos of it.
- You own your basic tools: drill, level, stud finder, ladder.
- You see a scuffed wall or a dead bulb before anyone points at it.
- You leave a room cleaner than you found it.
- You can give us 10 to 20 steady hours a week.
- A plus
Window repair, acoustic panels, laser cutter or metal sign work.
